La Flor de la Canela is a song composed by Cuban pianist and composer Ernesto Lecuona. The song has been recorded by many artists, most notably by José Luis Perales. The sheet music for this composition is available on the website of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) at www.ascap.com/sheet-music/search?search=la+flor+de+la+canela&fn=exact&trndfmt=-1#1112012236346 It was translated into English by Debra Kubik in 2007 as "The Flower of Cinnamon". The song was used for the 1947 Spanish film La quimera del oro. It was also used in the TV series in Puerto Rico by WAPA-TV.
